Wolfivan KR Rebel Yell
Rebel Yell's dam, Patchouli is beautiful and powerful doe who stands and strong, straight legs, Has a deep chest floor, deep body, wide througout and level over the topline. Patchouli's dam, Joyful Hearts KR Phoebe is a stunning champion doe with a well attached and incredibly capacious mammary system. She milked over 1200 pounds 2 years in a row and was awarded the Superior Genetics title. Patchouli's sire is out of Wood Bridge Farm Pets Promise who was the National JR Champion in 2016. Rebel Yell's sire is Algedi Farm CK Kinetic Riptide. Riptide has a stellar pedigree and has sired several amazing daughters that have done excellent on milk test and have become finished champions.

We are so pleased to have Marshal here at Hooligans Farm! When looking to start a quality Nigerian Dwarf herd, we knew our selection for a herd sire would be one of the most important decisions we made. This pedigree was too tempting to pass up: beautiful udders, beautiful front end assemblies, milk, he has it all!
Marshal's dam Sky Pilot has earned her Superior Genetics, Permanant Championship, and milk star designations. She is a powerful doe exhibiting strength, but still balancing it beautifully with a dairy elegance. She has the ideal wedge shape and is just the kind of doe we would like to see replicated on our farm. Her udder is capacious, high and wide with an incredible fore. Her udder in profile exhibits perfectly placed thirds in front of and behind the rear leg. Sky also has a strong front end assembly, an elusive feature in Nigerians.
Marshal's GrandDam Andante is also a force to be reckoned with. Andante took 1st place in her class at the 2015 nationals, then was one of 4 asked to be milked out for Best Udder in Show. She has an enviable udder arch and height, strong MSL, and a lovely fore as well. Andante has good length of body, stands uphill, and has great shoulders that blend smoothly into a level back and rump (V rump on LA).
This little buck is as sweet as can be and comes from stellar genetics. We have high hopes that he will pass on the excellence in his pedigree to his daughters here on the farm.

Graupel's sire Cleveland Sage is a proven herdsire, and his daughters have taken the West Coast show rings by storm: 8 have earned their permanent champion status, 5 have also earned their SG, and 3 of those have earned a 90 on liner appraisal.
Not to be outdone, Graupel's dam Blizzard is responsible for producing some of Castle Rock's top does. Her accomplished daughters GCH Castle Rock Black Ice EEEE92 and GCH Castle Rock Snownamie VEEE90 have done very well for themselves. Black Ice took 1st in the aged doe class at the 2015 Nationals and brought home the Total Performer award, while half-sister Snownamie produced the 2015 National Champion doe. Blizzard herself went Top Ten multiple times on One Day milk tests and earned a VEEE91 on appraisal as a five year old. Blizzard is now ten years old, and kids from her are next to impossible to come by.
Graupel has incredible length of body, well-spaced ribs, and flat bone throughout. He has two notable offspring that speak to his potential as a herdsire: Fedora and Moonshine. Castle Rock Fedora was 3rd place/2nd place udder in her class at the 2015 Nationals, as well as part of the winning Dam and Daughter class. Graupel's daughter Castle Rock Moonshine scored an EEEV90 as a 3 year old on linear appraisal with an E in shoulders AND rump!!
We look forward to Graupel's progeny hitting the ground for us in 2018.

We are thrilled about adding Triton to the herd, who is an exciting blend of Algedi genetic gold. We are proud to co-own Triton with HoofBietz Ranch.
Triton is a handsome chamoise devil, stealing the show very time he steps hoof in the ring. As a very young junior buck Triton took first place SIX times, then went on to take home 5 Junior Grand ribbons and one Reserve!!
Triton's dam Tiffany is a young doe who is looking forward to getting more time in the ring next year. At her first show with her breeder she came in 2nd in a large class as a 2yo FF behind her littermate sister. Triton's sire Orion is one of the only surviving Stella Luna bucks. Stella Luna had a wonderful show career at Alethia Homestead; Luna was 2x BDIS, 4x BOB, 5x Sr. GCH, 1x Sr. RGCH. We are excited to see triton's first kids hit the ground in 2018 and are confident he will continue to uphold the quality come to be known with the Algedi name.

We had the pleasure of being close friends with the previous owners of Encore for a long time. In that period, we saw many of his daughters hit the ground and mature, and I was always a fan of this buck. Algedi is a well-known name in the Nigerian Dwarf game and many breeders seek out these genetics for their consistency and stability over time. Encore's progeny were never any exception.
Encore's daughter Thomas Kids EC Like a Star earner her milk star and an impressive VVVV87 as a 2 year old, while another daughter Thomas Kids Onceinabluemoon earned an EEEV88 at 4 years old.
Encore's dam Capella is quite infamous and needs no introduction. Capella is a highly refined and dairy doe truly standing the test of time as proven in her 2016 appraisal score as an eight year old seasoned doe. In that year Capella score VEEE91, still boasting a V in shoulders, and a V or E in EVERY category except rump. Considering Capella has a leg injury that keeps her rump from being fairly judged, that's pretty impressive!!! We do not own Encore, but we are expecting some of his 2018 kids out of a select few of our does, so he has earned a spot on our Reference Buck list.
